Garlic Cheese Spread
by Marta Lejkowski

When I lived in Hungary and Poland, white curd cheese was always available.  In Polish it is called “bialy ser” and in Hungarian “turo”.  Here in the US there really is nothing that comes close, except for maybe cottage cheese.

This cheese spread is wonderful for picnics and parties.  Use as a bread spread or vegetable dip.

3-5 garlic cloves (depending on how much you love garlic)
3 tablespoons of olive oil
500 grams of “bialy ser”, turo, or American cottage cheese
5 green onions
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Cream the garlic, oil, cheese and green onions in a food processor until smooth.  Season with salt and pepper.

Smacznego!
